Thank you!

The RACS Masquerade Gala has become a beloved tradition in Jefferson City. We want to thank everyone who came out in 2024 and joined us for another wonderful evening dedicated to unmasking domestic violence in our community, and ultimately supporting the resilient survivors that RACS gets to work with every day.

Your support raised $34,160 to support survivors!

It was a true honor host our community at this event for the third year in a row. RACS has grown substantially, and after experiencing the enthusiastic support in 2024, we can’t wait to see you in 2025!

The funds raised through the 2024 event will go directly towards the many programs we provide to survivors, including:

  • Shelter
  • 24-hour Telephone Hotline support
  • Hospital Advocacy
  • Court Advocacy
  • Case Management
  • Crisis Intervention
  • Safety Planning
  • Sexual Violence prevention efforts
  • Law enforcement and judicial training
  • Community outreach
  • Children’s services
  • Individual and group counseling

Through our Outreach Program, we are able to meet the needs of those who are unable to travel to Jefferson City, and have brought 15,354 services to 793 survivors throughout Central Missouri over the last year. RACS works with survivors from across the state, as well as the nation, striving to ensure that at-risk individuals and families have a stable place to go when it isn’t safe for them to be at home. Just over the last year, we’ve provided 4,923 nights of safety to 155 men, women, and children, plus all of the food, clothing, hygiene amenities, and other necessities they need to live comfortably.

All the funds we raised through this event will support survivors and help RACS bring healing and hope to every Missouri resident fighting to leave unsafe or abusive situations.
