Employment Opportunities

Rape & Abuse Crisis Service (RACS) is seeking a Director of Outreach and Advocacy. The Director of Outreach & Advocacy is a key member of the RACS leadership team, responsible for strengthening and expanding outreach and advocacy programs across our nine-county region.

This newly restructured role focuses on rebuilding RACS’ community-based advocacy framework: Setting measurable goals, developing staff capacity, and aligning services with organizational priorities and funding requirements. The Director of Outreach & Advocacy oversees outreach and court advocacy staff, volunteer coordination, and regional outreach initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings strong victim advocacy experience, trauma-informed leadership, and proven success in program development, staff supervision, and grant compliance.

Salary and Benefits:

  • $60,000 annual salary

Shelter Advocate

The Rape & Abuse Crisis Service is seeking full-time and part-time Shelter Advocates.  The correct people for these roles are those who are empathetic, can problem-solve, have great time management and are able to adapt to frequent changes.  Basic technology skills,  strong communication skills, and organization skills are necessary as is the ability to work independently and as a team member.

Pay rate:  $16.23/hour
